A Big Life tries to explore the notions of home, change, choice and love. It documents my move from Sydney to Germany, in search stories to tell my grandchildren and building a new life in a foreign country. It is home to as much of my sadness and uncertainty and is it my happiness and small victories. It is full of observations and anecdotes about life abroad, the ever-evolving idea of home, the curse and the blessing of being caught between two. It is a collection of writing that (largely) addresses the emotional component of physical displacement.

(With a few books, a lot of photos, a touch of opinion and some completely uncategorisable posts for good measure.)
